Life is a journey, and learning a life-long adventure and joy for those who seek knowledge of God and His will. We do not need perfect understanding of what those words mean. We simply need to accept that His will for us is good, and to seek it with an open mind and heart. We do this through study of the Scriptures, and prayerful discussion, in a variety of settings.
FOR CHILDREN – SUNDAY
9:30-10:30 in the Upstairs Classrooms
We offer Children’s Sunday School at church while the Contemporary-style service is being held in the Sanctuary.
Classes are organized by grade level: pre-K/K, 1st-3rd, 4th & 5th, 6th-8th, and 9th-12th. The nursery is available to children ages 0-3 years old.
We also have the Sunday School Children’s Choir that consists of the students in the pre-K/K, 1st-3rd, and 4th & 5th classes. These children gather at the beginning of the 9:30 Sunday School hour in one classroom to practice for about 15 minutes with our choir director, Elizabeth Guthrie. Approximately once a month the children sing in front of the congregation at the 9:30am Contemporary worship service and at the 11:00am Traditional worship service.
FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL – SUNDAY
During the 11:00am Traditional-style service, Sunday School is offered for Middle school and High school-aged young people in the upstairs classrooms.
